TCS Firm Foundation was invited by the Titusville Flag and Memorial Commitee and the City of Titusville to sing our patriotic music to honor fallen astronauts in the City of Titusville Astronaut Memorial Ceremony on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Sand Point Park. Mayor Jim Tulley expressed his appreciation for our music and conduct during a cold rainy morning. The keynote speaker was Mr. Scott Harris from Central Florida News 13. Fallen Astronauts from Apollo 1 (01/27/67), Space Shuttle Challenger (01/28/86), and Space Shuttle Columbia (02/01/03) were remembered for their ultimate sacrifice for the exploration of space.
Other guests included the Police and Fire Drum and Pipe Corp, as well as a flyover by Valiant Air Command near the end of the ceremony. Many notable people involved with the space program were in attendance.
Our group wishes to thank Mrs. Barbara McGillicuddy for her gracious invitation. We look forward to more exciting opportunities to serve our community in this way.
