TCS Firm Foundation has had a great day of singing, shouting, and surfing across Central Florida. This morning we left the school at 8:20 heading for the FACCS Junior Fine Arts competition being held in Orlando. After hearing several fine perfomers, it was our turn to share our group's musical talents. Not only did they sing, they sang without any accompaniment, other than our opening pitches played on the piano by Kelcie Ferrell. Not only did they sing a capella, they sang their way to an Excellent rating and 2nd place in the District competetion out of 3 groups competing in their division. After enjoying some more fine sacred musical numbers, we stopped at Taco Bell for a quick lunch. From the Bell, we surfed on over to Cocoa Beach in our beautiful white bus to Ron Jon's One of A Kind World's Largest Surf Shop to perform a Spring Break concert on friendship to all the friendly spring breakers that were there. After the show, the entire ensemble was presented with a commemorative plaque and each individual received a Ron Jon fun pack and 15% discount card. I received a beautiful beach towel and 20% discount card. We had a blast singing our friendship songs. Then it was time to head back to TCS. What an eventful day. Stay tuned.
